Green Spaces - Property in Devon and Somersest

Devon and Somerset properties and period family houses which have such advantages as green spaces, good schools, nearby facilities, are, according to many property market professionals and myself included as an independent buying agent, showing good demand. Foreign buyers are the people most likely to keep the country house market buoyant and maybe even push the market up by as much as 10% this year. Demand for farmland and a good shooting estate is still there. I shoot mostly in North Devon and whilst I know times have been difficult for some commercial shoots there is still a good requirement for that epitome of the country lifestyle, or even just as a second home. Affluent professionals relocating to the West Country and Devon in particular appear to be fuelling this market. As a professional property search agent I have come across some wonderful ‘village’ House projects that have been undertaken recently enabling purchasers to put their own stamp on it.
